• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Need help with permissions

My webhost is running Plesk for Windows 7.5.6.

I uploaded a bunch of files to my webserver and set up one of my game servers to allow files to be downloaded from the webserver instead of the game server. This lowers the load on the server and provides for faster downloads of the custom maps.

I went into Plesk and I think I set the permissions correct to allow the transfers to occur, but it doesn't seem to work. There are file in the same folder that were transfered over from my old site (which was a different company) that I can download.

For example:

http://flotserver.net/downloads/flotcomercial2.wmv is a little MOH movie we made a while back. You can download that.

http://flotserver.net/downloads/de_train.bsp is a custom file for CSS, but you can't download that.

Do you have any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?

I'm sorry, but I'm a big time newbie when it comes to Plesk.. can you tell me how I'd do that?
