New Pleskian
Dear readers,

I am using plesk 12.5.30 and my hosting suggested I change the plesk hostname so I can arrange a ssl certifcation. But I have 5 websites running on my server and I do not want the to go down.

Can I change the hostname without downtime?

Thanks very much for your information.

If you are talking about ssl certificate for Plesk admin interface, that it is not related to your customer's webserver operation.
You can safely change hostname and ssl certificate of your Plesk server. It will not affect your sites.
