  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

New components do not install

New Pleskian
Hello,

I'm trying to install Fail2Ban through the built-in installer, but it simply does not install.
It goes until the Continue (after selecting Fail2Ban to install) and after pressing Continue the screen stays where is was. Showing Fail2Ban with the green text Install behind it.

The log shows:
Getting packages to installation list:
Following packages will be installed: fail2ban-0.8.13-ubuntu14.04.14062515.all plesk-fail2ban-configurator-12.0.18-ubuntu14.04.build1200140604.16.all

add to install list python-pyinotify-0.9.4-1build1

And that's it.

Trying to install or uninstall other components also does not work and ends without any error in the same screen.

What can I do to solve this?

Try to use CLI autoinstaller and check error messages in output.

Just run

# /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/autoinstaller

and follow to menu.
