I had installed prior to the pull back also, when I tried doing the update after the release again I recieved the same errors.

I restored my Plesk back to 8.2 via VZ backup and then went in and reinstalled with no problems.

It looks like something in the original release may be causing an issue.

As a workaround you can use autoinstaller from console (/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/autoinstaller). It will say something like "Warning: your license key for the base component cannot be upgraded." Do you want to continue?
It's just a cosmetic warning
just type "Yes" and the update will be installed.

Failed dependencies

I just ran the updater and got the following errors.
Any suggestions?

sounds like you didnt pick all the comparable options to upgrade ....

try to un-install those rpms manually and reinstall once more after the update...

Regarding the licemse key issue:

if you upgraded Plesk via Updater:

As a workaround you can set IGNORE_KEY_ERRORS variable in the enviroment Plesk Control Panel runs with. It can be done with adding IGNORE_KEY_ERRORS=yes line into start1 procedure of /etc/init.d/psa file. Then Plesk Updater running from Plesk Control Panel will ignode such key errors.

In case you used autoinstaller refer to this article:

Good Luck!

Battlefield License key

I have a server at the Planet with a licensed version of plesk 100 domains. I installed Battlefield 2 game server module and it is saying: Error: This module requires that you install a license key, when I try to activate it.

How do I get a license, I have searched high and low.

Paul

You can purchase the Plesk Game Server Module under addons from plesk for $199

And here is what I got, any ideas?
Plesk and operating system packages will be downloaded and saved to the
directory '/root/swsoft'.

Required disk space: 1090.59 Mb.

Available disk space: 396.61 Mb.

So I have to pay $199 to run a module that is already installed?? That doesn't make sense, this comes with the Plesk version 100 domains, server installed, it just says requires another license key.
