• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

New Plesk 7.5.3 update?

This morning I discovered that there were updates to the 7.5.3 packages in the Plesk Updater. I had just finished setting up a server last night including installing components through the Updater, and this clearly was not there, so this is something that has been added within the last few hours.

Has anybody tried the update? Does anybody know what the update corrects? Any problems?

Since the server in question is new I went ahead and installed the update and there seems to be no problems, but there are no active sites running on the server (just a couple of test sites, which seem to be running okay). I have some other 7.5.3 servers I would like to run the update on but am hoping to hear some others' experiences first.

Well i have no clue what it updates but to let you in on a secret!!!

Nothing broke and everything will be ok.

I just ran the update, it was a quick one. Nothing broke, go for it.
