Configuring dns with plesk 8.3.0

I have just acuiqered a number of domain names and a linux vps with plesk 8.3.0.

I have been given one ip address

I am lost to how to configure my dns.

Q1 can I do this with only one ip address

Server/dns settings takes you to the zone templates. By default there is a total of 8 DNS records

Q2 do I have to delete any records or add any records

I have added a number of my domains to plesk when I go to domain\mydomain\dns settings there is a total of 9 dns records

Q3 do I have to delete any records or add any records

when trying to register the nameservers i don't know what to register. and i get this

Unless otherwise indicated, you must use:
NS1.MYDOMAIN.COM, NS2.MYDOMAIN.COM,
NS3.MYDOMAIN.COM, NS4.MYDOMAIN.COM

Dear wobb,

with Plesk it should be easier:
http://www.parallels.com/en/products/plesk/docs/
http://download1.parallels.com/Ples...plesk-8.3-unix-administrators-guide/index.htm

basically, if you configure Server >> dns setting, then records template will be automatically added to domain.

As for dns basic, try to search over google, wikipeida, etc. There are a lot of info about dns records.

Yes, it is possible with one ip; 8 records are by default.
most probably, you will need to edit record for specific domain, also yuo will need to make sure that there are correct numbers;
yes, there are should be NS records for domain. you may specify the VE ip address, or contact your ip/dns provider for more info;
