  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue nginx directives being ignored

nate

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

We've recently updated to version 18.0.25 and for one domain have turned off 'Proxy Mode' so the site is being served by nginx but it seems to be ignoring all additional directives we add. We've tried this on another Plesk server running 18.0.24 which seems to work and can't figure why it's not working (the configs are the same).

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks, unfortunately that still doesn't seem to have worked:
Error messages: 0; Warnings: 0; Errors resolved: 0

nginx directive:
location /test {
proxy_pass https://www.google.com;
}

Retults in 404

I have the same problem:
location blocks are ignored.

For instance this one is ignored in additional nginx directives with proxy mode off

Code:
location ~ ^/page/[0-9]+/? {
    return 404;
}

Everytime I want to set a locatin block it does not work.

After unchecking Proxy mode, in Apache & nginx Settings > Additional nginx directives,
can someone add the following code and check if it returns a 403 when you go to Best Website Builder Online | Yoursite ?

Code:
location /page321/ {
    deny all;
}

Do you see a 403 error?
