• The APS Catalog has been deprecated and removed from all Plesk Obsidian versions.
Applications already installed from the APS Catalog will continue working. However, Plesk will no longer provide support for APS applications.
  • Please be aware: with the Plesk Obsidian 18.0.78 release, the support for the ngx_pagespeed.so module will be deprecated and removed from the sw-nginx package.

Nnginx Modules

Basic Pleskian
Let me first ask: Why does Plesk have it's own nginx-package instead of using the distro-default? What's the difference? Built-in Plesk integration?

Now the point is, I need to have the nginx-headers-more module for various purposes. What isn't the question right now, I need it. I tried playing with changing them on Apache and forwarding them, but it doesn't suffice.

I have two options: Replacing the Plesk-provided nginx with the distro default one (the flavour with the module baked in). I did that once in a testing environment, and didn't experience any issues back then. But for production... that one freaks me out a bit. Or, having another webserver after nginx that manipulates/adds the headers I need.

No, modifying config files doesn't suffice. The options aren't there.

(So, hopefully this will prevent me a bunch of "Did you read the docs answers")

Just curious if you have any more ideas than I do.

Edit: Posted it on the User Request site as well.
