No Such Directory or file error during remote backup

Hi,

I recently lost all of my remote backups. Most of my domains were set in plesk to keep the last three backups. Now when the backup happens i get the "rename/remove error no such directory or file" error probably because the old backup is not there to be replaced by the new one.

I have tried donig a manual backup and putting that file in the remote backup site, so it would see a file there to replace, but that failed. (probably because it is looking for a file with a particular time/dtae stamp to replace.)

I also tried disabling and then re-enabling scheduled backups, and that failed. I then changed the number of old backups to retain to 1 and that failed as well.

I am seeking a solution to this problem. One other idea I had was to hack the relevant database tables but I would need some advice as to which and how from someone who understands the relevant entries are ( I am skilled with PHPmyAdmin etc...)

I was hoping there was a simpler solution than that.

Thanks for any help or advice...

I foun one solution. Icreated a new uer ont he FTP server and it works. I guess with anew user account it stops looking for the previous backup files (to erase and replace the oldest) that no longer exist.

I hope this helps somebody someday.
