• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Using a Ubuntu Plesk install, we decided we wanted to enable webmail as it hadn't been setup when Plesk was initially deployed.

We used apt-get install psa-horde and followed the prompts and it installed as per normal.

I checked out the Plesk Components and now found the following;

psa-horde 3.1.7-ubuntu8.04.build92090422.13

Indicating the the installation was successful and Plesk was picking it up as a valid installed component.

From there I went in to the "Mail Server Settings" area and went to look at the Webmail section and see the following;

Webmail
Available Webmail clients None

I'm still unable to select any webmail!

Any ideas? :)

David

sorry, I wasn't very clear. What I was trying to say is that you have gone into mail server settings. Before you do that you need to click on 'select webmail' and choose the clients which will be made available. Then you can go into 'mail server settings' and choose one to use for the admin account.
