notifications and <domain>...

How does one configure the "<domain>" feature within notifications to not send the actual full host address to new clients (this link when clicked on doesn't even work anyway), but send the www.domain.com link instead?

thanks!

First, the messages sent are plain text, so there is no 'link' which will be clickable.

In the Server, Notifications, click on the edit button for the domain creation (or whichever one you want to change), and edit the line

Domain name: <domain_name>

to be

Domain name: http://www.<domain_name>

This will then show them the FQDN, but again, since the messages are plain text, they will not be able to click on it either way.

You can put any message you want in this area, Plesk just gives a default sample message so you don't have to go and create all of them beforehand.

yes it's clickable as long as http:// is there.

but plesk uses <domain> for giving your address but <domain> is actually sending your full host name which that shouldn't be. so i just manually entered my domain name anyway. thanks
