• The APS Catalog has been deprecated and removed from all Plesk Obsidian versions.
Applications already installed from the APS Catalog will continue working. However, Plesk will no longer provide support for APS applications.
  • Please be aware: with the Plesk Obsidian 18.0.78 release, the support for the ngx_pagespeed.so module will be deprecated and removed from the sw-nginx package.

Issue Obsidian suddenly needs system user for updates

ItsDan

New Pleskian
I have a handful of servers on Digital Ocean that I've been updating to the latest release but a few are asking for system user credentials to install the updates. In the past it's simply logged me in if I was already logged into the plesk admin panel. I'm wonder what may have changed and if I can restore the previous functionality where it I guess either didn't need them or stored the credentials. Oddly in some panels the updater UI doesn't want to load and just hangs. Not sure what changed suddenly.
