  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

ODBC & Certificates features

Hi,

At the domain user level, I have noticed the following problems :

1) in 6.5.1, a domain user can now create ODBC connections for its domain. However, in the Limits option, you don't have any field to limit the number of ODBC connections that can be created...

2) a domain user can access the Certificate feature. I think we should have an option to disable access to this functionnality (for instance, to avoid people messing around with certificates, and to grant this privilege on a per package basis).

I fully agree with the ODBC issue. This needs to be off/on and limited in quantity.

As for the Certificates. Aren't they off on non-ssl sites?
