• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

odd issues connecting to mail server

Hello, I am having odd issues connecting to the mail.domain.com for POP or IMAP email.

When I created a new mail account in Plesk, I tried to add it to my mail client, but it could not connect to the mail.domain1.com server. I found this odd because my mail client was able to connect to mail.domain2.com, an existing mail account on the same server that I had previously set up in the mail client.

I deleted the mail.domain2.com email configuration from my mail client and tried to add it back. It was not able to connect even though it did moments before.

I checked Horde webmail, and it worked for email accounts on both domain1.com and domain.com.

I don't feel like the problem is my mail client though, as I still have email accounts from mail.domain3.com that it is able to check, and also email accounts from my ISP that it can check.

Reseting the DNS and mail server did nothing to help.

Any ideas?
