  • Support for BIND DNS has been removed from Plesk for Windows due to security and maintenance risks.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS.

Issue Older packages not being cleaned up

Yes, all those packages would be suitable for removal as part of the Plesk 'clean up'. They can be removed manually (with a package manager), as long as the latest version of each package is kept.

Ahhh yes, that's the command we use (when required) on all Ubuntu Packages, but had wrongly assumed, that Plesk was package managed, independently outside of that. Our own, basic school boy error then... this explains why we couldn't find any references within Plesk as to what we'd assumed and this also negates post #13 in this thread.

Okay, well that was easy to correct and all those warnings have obviously now ceased. Thanks @Kaspar@Plesk

So what was the verdict on getting rid of these on AlmaLinux 8.10?

So what was the verdict on getting rid of these on AlmaLinux 8.10?
~~~
We're assuming that this ^ is looking for input from @Kaspar@Plesk? (as we're not on AlmaLinux so can't confirm) but, he might be on other duties now...
However @Sebahat.hadzhi may possibly assist / confirm for you instead? FWIW It was completely trouble free for us (after that Plesk removal process confirmation and all of the later posts too)
