  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

One Domain - 2 Hosts (migration process)

I'm trying to set up a new host for a site that has had trouble with the previous host. (of course, running into new problems with the new host, but..)

here's what i'd like to do
keep DNS registered at the current host

the new host has Plex 7.5.4 on it
i'd like to setup a domain mydomain.com with a subdomain stage.mydomain.com

i set up a CName pointer to the right IP address for stage.mydomain.com and that resolves correctly

but when i go to the url, its like Plesk isn't accesing the same files that it shows through the file manager

this posting isn't well worded, but has someone gone through this process?

thanks
paul
