open /var/lib/php/session

BrunoMiguel

New Pleskian
I have a problem with permissions:

Warning: Unknown:
open(/var/lib/php/session/sess_4a7e0fusf2dt3dtbeecbru5gs0, O_RDWR)
failed: Permission denied (13) in Unknown line 0

Does anybody know what is the cause of this??

Ok, I've done a simple PHP script:

<?php
error_reporting ( E_ALL );
if ( is_dir ( "/var/lib/php/session" ) )
echo "is dir";
else
echo "no dir";
?>

And this returns the following error:

Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/var/lib/php/session) is not within the allowed path(s): (/var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/:/tmp/) in /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/basedir.php on line 3

How can I fix this to all domains in the server, plus the domains I add to my server?

Plesk 10.2 CentOS
Thanks.

I've been getting issues like this a lot too. If you delete that file, it'll usually go away.

This being said, I've edited /etc/php.ini to use cookies instead of sessions so that this weird bug will stop rearing its ugly head.
