• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Panel 7.6.1 - When using Chrome to login, unable to use "p" in password field

New Pleskian
Plesk for Windows v7.6.1

So this is an interesting issue. It seems vaguely familiar.

When using Chrome to login, unable to use "p" in password field. I get a pop-up with a 404 error.

The requested URL /locale/en/help/false.html was not found on this server.

This happens immediately as you type. The "p" can be anywhere in the password. So it essentially prevents the user from logging in. We can change the user's password, but it does not solve the issue, just works around it. The user can use a different browser, but again, that does not solve the issue it only works around it. This only happens when using Chrome to access the control panel and login. Using Firefox or IE, there is no issue. Anyone seen this? Know the solution?

Thank you,
