Dear Sir or Madame,

after installation i get back an error message when i try to sign in.
How can i generate a valid SSL certificate to prevent this error message? Everytime when i try to generate a SSL certificate i need to provide a domain name but i haven´t finally one for the login page.

How can i solve this?

Thanks and best regards.

The default SSL certificate you used for Plesk is a self-signed certificate, which is generated once during your Plesk installation. The presence of this SSL certificate is required for SSL connections.
You can create your own self-signed certificate on the Certificates page, or purchase a real certificate from one of the certificate authorities.
To create a new self-signed SSL certificate, log into Plesk as an administrator, go to the Certificates page, and create the new certificate -

Tools & Settings -> SSL Certificates -> Add

Fill in the required preferences and click the button Self-Signed.

Thank´s for the fast reply.

I want to resolve this browser message "this connection is not secured", so i want to buy a certificate from an authority but i can not generate a CSR key because the domain name field is empty. Is there another solution or can i use a secured subdomain as a redirect for the panel to solve this?

For sure, i have a FQDN like "server.example.com"
I also have a wildcard SSL certificate for subdomains.

go to "extensions", install "Lets Encrypt".
create a subscription "example.com". create subdomain "server.example.com"
log into server again using server.example.com
create let's encrypt certificate for the subdomain [which equals your servers FQDN]. tick "use for securing plesk" (or similar), don't tick "include www"
done
:)

Hi Igor, i create ssl > Websites & Domains > Let's Encrypt
and its working. sub.domain.com

but when i call sub.domain.com:8443 i got an error. (invalid ssl)

and into Tools & Settings > SSL Certificates
i can't see this SSL to apply on Plesk panel
