  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

panel shows php-fpm not installed?

New Pleskian
I installed php-fpm to test it out with nginx. Nginx seems to be running fine, but after installation of pho-fpm I don't have the option to start the php-fpm service in plesk. Also it does not show that it has been installed in server components. When I try to run the installer again I get

Installation started in background
Error: You already have the latest version of product(s) and all selected components
installed. Installation will not continue.

I don't have the option to process php files with ngix in the domain config either. Help.

You must install php-fpm via Parallels Installer. Please make sure you actually have php-fpm package available among your enabled repositories and its version is at least 5.3.9.

If you did install, then it's already acceptable version.

Check with either of depending on you OS:

# rpm -qa | grep fpm
# dpkg -l '*fpm*'

Nothing listed for # rpm -qa | grep fpm command. Running Centos 5.5. As mentioned I did install via Plesk installer. When I attempt to reinstall I get the message in the OP. Currently running Plesk 11.5.30.

How do you attempt to reinstall? Anyway, now is about time to check this one:

# yum search fpm
# yum info php-fpm

In the last command substitute php-fpm with whatever first command outputs.
