  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Parallels Plesk Health Monitor Doesn't Remove Itself on Plesk 11.0.9 With All MU

pleskpanel

Regular Pleskian
On new install of 11.0.9 Update #53, the Health monitor was recently installed along with the Watch Dog extension (via the Add or Remove Components) tool but after deciding that it wasn't effective we tried to remove it and ran into this:

- While the WatchDog can be removed through the Extensions screen, it still requires us to remove the cron jobs from the root user in Scheduled Tasks (is this a bug or this normal?)
- The Add or Remove components tool doesn't appear to allow us to remove components from it (only add)
- While both attempts at removing the health monitor # rpm -e psa-health-monitor and yum remove psa-health-monitor sw-collectd seem to succeed, the Add or Remove components screen always seems to want to update it (and always shows that the component is still installed even though it no longer appears in the Plesk control panel itself)

Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated as this doesn't seem to be reflective of a stable control panel experience.

I have checked and found that this behaviour is fixed on upcoming Plesk 11.5
