  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Parallels Plesk Panel service stopped

Good Morning!

Yesterday I upgraded my Plesk 8.4 Version to the actual Version of Plesk 9. During the Update no problems appeared.
After the installation of Plesk 9 I needed to upload the new key for Plesk 9 - so did I. After I had finished that step, the Plesk Service stopped and everytime I restart it, it stops again after a few seconds (so I have no way to log in in the webinterface again).
Even a reinstallation of Plesk 9 didn't solve this problem.
All other Plesk services work fine, just the Control panel doesn't.

So I hope that you can help me.

Best regards,
Richard Meyer

Hi Chasen,

I now reinstalled the whole Server completely with the new Version of plesk - now it works more or less.

But I have an other problem with the integration of hMailServer in Plesk - but because it is another problem I'll start a new thread

Greez,
Richard
