• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello,

How can I change permissions of a lot of files through plesk file manager without selecting one by one?

Thanks

Hi PedroN,

You can change permissions for a parent folder that contains your files.
1. Open permissions change screen for the folder from above.
2. Select required permissions.
3. Check option " Replace permission entries on all child objects with the entries shown here."
4. Press OK

NB: This will change permissions for ALL files in the selected folder, including subfolders.

If you are having remote desktop access then you can do it from rdp as well. Change the permission of parent folder and click on apply in heritage permissions to child.
