• Debian 11 has reached its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.81 is the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

PhDomain object error

By now I am unable to remove a domain with plesk. The error message is:
ERROR: Unable to create PhDomain object: displayName != name 0: /usr/local/psa/admin/auto_prepend/auth.php3:284 psaerror(string "Unable to create PhDomain object: displayName != name")

This error message also ocurred and was mentioned in another thread but was not finally answered to help me :( )

What happened?
1. Server had to be rebuild
2. domains had to be restored
3. the user could not restore a specific domain and realized it was due to a capital letter error: with plesk he had Mydomain.com created, but the restore was for mydomain.com
4. the user was so "smart" to rename Mydomain.com in vhosts and maybe (!?!) also in psa/damps to mydomain.com.
5. User restored the domain, which compelted successfully.
6. domain did not work
7. user deleted the Mydomain/mydomain directory in vhosts

apparently Mydomain/mydomain was created/deleted while trying to remove the domain with plesk, as plesk apparently cant handle the domain anymore.

Now he asks IT to help ;)

Any suggestion how to delete the domain in plesk?

TIA

Martin

Remove the domain directly from the database, there are only serveral relations to it..
