Question PHP 5.2 + MSSQL Extention?

My client ask for an platform with PHP 5.2 and connect MS-SQL with mssql extension module (his code cannot compatible with newer sqlsrv module).

I checked the Onyx feature found PHP 5.2 support, but cannot sure how to install or configure it with the legacy mssql extension? Does that possible? and where is the document could help me configure it?
