  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

PHP.exe is sometimes killing my server.

Jean-LucP

New Pleskian
I am new to VPS hosting and Plesk. During the last 2 months I had 2x the issue where my server was overwhelmed, and not answering, by php.exe burning all the CPU. Had to connect to the server thru RDP and kill the process.
Actually I don't like killing processes but as I am working on a windows platform in ASP.net I don't need it, does Plesk requires php.exe to run ?

Need more detailed investigation. What is php script is used when you see enormous CPU consuming? Is it admin's PHP or user's PHP?

I'm having a similar problem. For me it seems to be when using the Panel to display Websites and Domains, or when using the CLI to add domains.
