• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

PHP Extensions?

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to compile PHP with --enable-zip on a FreeBSD 6 box with Plesk 8.3.

The module is loaded as checked with
.

I haven't ever compiled or re-compiled PHP before and I don't want to mess this box up as there are some live sites running on it. I'm not sure where to start and whether I can indeed compile PHP with this extension without affecting Plesk. I've looked on Google and I'm now even more confused than I was before.

I think I have to configure PHP but ./configure --help doesn't work and I'm not sure how to progress. Could anyone provide advice on how to do this?

Many Thanks
