• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

PHP/MySQL 5 on Plesk 8.1.1/CentOS 3.6

Basic Pleskian
I'm thinking about updating PHP my Plesk 8.1.1 on CentOS 3.6

Ideally I'd like to upgrade it to PHP5 & get MySQL 5..

Has anyone done this? Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks!

PHP 5.0.4 is available from ART. If you want higher you'll need to compile it yourself.

MySQL 5+ is also a self compile process at this point. I know Scott is working on a release at ART but it's not stable yet.

php 5.0, and mysql 4.1 were the last releases I made for that platform. I dont think I'll be able to do any Mysql 5, or php 5.1 rpms for 3ES based distros. There are just way too many dependencies to take care of to get it to work right.
