• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

PHP Permission Denied

I cannot upload or create a file.
I get a "Permission Denied" error message.
What should I do?
Thanks for help.
Sebastien

Use the filemanager to give write permissions to the folder that you try to write to.

Thanks but I get this message when trying to change permission via Plesk:

"You are not allowed to change permissions for the file ."

... even with administrator login.

May be this bug is corrected in the last Plesk 7/Windows Patch.
I will update ...

Have you tried creating a new folder and moving the file into this folder and then setting the permissions on the file?

Perhaps it has something to do with where the file is located?

Thanks it works.
I can alter persmissions for the folder I create myself.
But it's strange that iI cannot mofify permission for the plesk created folder. I can do it with that.

FYI with coldfusion (user is system) I can do everything.

Thanks
Sebastien
