Issue php segfault caused server to hang

Hello

Over the weekend our Plesk server was dead, with a bunch of php segfault errors on the screen. We could not even look in via the console as machine was totally unresponsive so it had to be rebooted. Any recommendation on how we can troubleshoot what caused this php segfault issue?

All such issues are logged to /var/log/messages. Often segfaults are caused by faulty hardware or lack of resources.
