  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello everyone,

on the subdomain https://wiki.werwolf-live.de is a mediawiki installation. It used to work fine, but then I was made aware that it had a malfunction recently. I didn't change anything, but Plesk updated itself a couple of times.

Anyway, it seems that the index.php (which is the original mediawiki file) serves a \ before the <!DOCTYPE html>.
The load.php (also original mediawiki file) also does serve a \ before providing the resources it is supposed to serve.

I uploaded a static html file, and it is served without issue.

So, the error might be with the 8.4.4 php dedicated FPM engine.

plesk repair web wiki.werwolf-live.de
did not resolve the problem.

Does anyone have an idea, how this can be?
All other domains seem to work just fine.

Best regards
Heinrich

Most likely some file used for the wiki echo/prints the \ character. You can use the File Manager in Plesk to search trough the contents of all files of the subdomain to see if there is an \ character in any of those files that might not belongs in there.

I focused on the files recently edited, and I found indeed the source of the rogue character.

Thank you.
