php with oci8 support

Hi,

i need to have oci8 support in php4 under plesk8. There are a lot of readmes how to install oracle instant client with apache and php4 or how to use php4 as a cgi module. Isn't there an easier way to configure php4 with oci8 support?

Are there any experienced users who are willing to help me to configure my server this way?
