  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Placeholders for reseller resource overuse notices don't work

PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE

Plesk 18.0.58
CentOS 7.9

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

In the Plesk documentation about email notifications there is a list of placeholders (tags) that can be added to a notification and will be replaced by specific (matching) data in when the email notification is sent.

The {{ disk_usage }}, {{ disk_space_limit }}, {{ traffic }}, {{ traffic_limit }} and {{ limit_name }} placeholders don't seems to work with the resource usage limit notification for resellers. I believe this might be a bug, as based on the the notification type (resource usage limit) and the fact that the documentation lists these placeholders you would expect these placeholders to work for reseller notifications too.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1) In Plesk create a Reseller
2) For testing purposes create Reseller Plan with a small disk space limit (for example 10 MB) and assign Plan to reseller
3) Create a domain in the reseller account, fill disk space with files over 10 MB
4) In Tools & Settings go to Notification, edit the "Resource usage limits exceeded by reseller account" notification and add the {{ disk_usage }}, {{ disk_space_limit }}, {{ traffic }}, {{ traffic_limit }} and {{ limit_name }} placeholders to the notification.
5) If not yet enabled, enable the "Resource usage limits exceeded by reseller account" notification.
6) Wait for notification to be send and notice how non of the added place holders are replaced by actual data.

ACTUAL RESULT

Placeholder are not replaced by data

EXPECTED RESULT

Placeholder are replaced by the actual data
