• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk 10 > 11 Upgrade Database Problem

Floezen

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

I have updated openSuse to 12.1. Now I wanted to also upgrade Plesk to Version 11.

Unfortunately the upgrade stops with following error:

Code:
Trying to check psa database... Trying to find psa database... version is 010120
DATABASE ERROR!!!
Previous product version is , but previous database
version is 010120. In most of cases it is result of
previous upgrade try failure. Please, restore previous version
from backup, and try again or contact technical support.

I didn't backup the database right before upgrading, but had an older one to restore the psa database. But still the same error. What can I do?

(My Plesk installation was a trail installation on our testing server. I now wanted to upgrade this trial installation, to test the same enviroment as on the production server.)

Thanks
Flözen

We do not recommend install major OS upgrade on Plesk servers. Usually it leads to unpredictable consequences.
I don't know how you can repair Plesk without backup of psa database. Try contact Support Team. Maybe experienced supporters will help you.
