  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

The version on /download/plesk/11 _is_ the production version of Plesk. It officially went RTM (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Softwar...life_cycle#RTM) about mid-day June 13 (Seattle time). Plesk 11 will proceed into GA on June 26. The goal of separating these is to allow our direct customers earlier access to final product so they can organize their own launches before we begin broadly marketing availability.

Anyhow, to the error message that you got - that sounds license related, almost as if the license was removed or was not valid to work with Plesk 11. I saw another post from you that sounds like you're using Perpetual (also known as "Purchase") licenses as opposed to lease/monthly licenses. Lease/monthly licenses work across Plesk 10.x and 11.x without changes, but Perpetual licenses have a couple requirements (does it have SUS? has the license key type been upgraded to 11.x?). So, I'd recommend checking w/ your account manager on your license and giving the upgrade another go.

Well, installations or upgrades indicate as "Parallels Plesk Panel 11.0.9 (pre-release)"

We have 4 release channels at Parallels:

- Preview: these are alpha/beta builds
- Pre-Release (also known as "Current"): this is the final build that we release to partners and early adopters on RTM date (which was June 13)
- Release: this is the same final build that we release to everyone on GA date (which will be June 26)
- Stable: these are builds that usually come out 3-6 weeks after that major version went to Release (and some MicroUpdates are available)
