Plesk 12.5 Scheduled Backup File Limit

Ignacio Cerro

New Pleskian
After upgrading to Plesk 12.5, all the copies of scheduled backups are kept and old copies are not being deleted. This is controlled with these settings:

Is there anything we can do to fix this?

Thank you in advance for your help and time.

As possible workaround try to re-enable this task and check how it goes on.

Let's see if I understood it: should I disable the backup task, then enable it again?
You are correct. Also run following command just in case:

# export PLESK_DEBUG=1
# /usr/local/psa/bin/sw-engine-pleskrun /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/DailyMaintainance/script.php -f BackupRestoreStats

and check possible errors in output.

Deep investigation of backup logs is required. Contact Odin Support Team if you are not familiar with it.

This solved by itself. Well, maybe something in the updates published since was related - although I didn't catch it in the release notes.

First, shortly after reporting it, daily backups started deleting old ones. Then, yesterday, weekly ones started doing the same.

Hope this helps.
