Plesk 12 doesn't want to be updated

Hello!

When loggin into the Plesk, it says:
Failed to update Plesk. To solve this problem, you can send the update log to Parallels support.View the update logs (Jan 23, 2015).Copy the logs to your computer before you close this message. To close this message, clickhere.

How to proceed with that? Whom should I send this log-file? Or I may post it here?

Please try to run update procedure in CLI with help of following command:

# $PRODUCT_ROOT_D/admin/sbin/autoinstaller --select-product-id plesk --select-release-current --reinstall-patch --install-component base

and check possible errors in output.
 
Hello,

Thanks Igor for the suggestion. Will try to perform the command, once the Backup is ready. Currently trying to back up all my files from the Server in order to have the possibility to reset all the settings in case of any crush.

In a meantime the log-file from today is in the attachement.

Hi!

I have bought this VPS from STRATO.NL (https://www.strato.nl/vps-linux/#features). I'm not exactly sure which Virtualization technoogy is used there. But according to this article: http://odin.com/it/news/pr/release/...server-infrastructure-and-streamline-10000-v/ it is Virtuozzo.

I checked it via CLI through the command "sudo ls -al /proc/vz" and here is the output:

I just assume that problem may be related to broken vzfs for this VPS and can be fixed from Virtuozzo hardware node side.

thanks for the reply. Do you mean that only the Hosting Provider (STRATO in this case) can solve this issue?
 
If it is really broken vzfs symlink in Virtuozzo VPS - only administrator of Virtuozzo hardware node can fix it.
