• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk 12 FTP issues

New Pleskian
We are seeing issues in FTP access since we upgraded Plesk from 11.5 to 12.0. Has there been any changes made between the two versions that would cause this? Basically, customers are not able to log into their accounts using their FTP clients. No errors are being logged to the server.

We tried to install vsftpd but we couldn’t get it to start on the server. Is Plesk blocking this?

Server Type: Linux
Server OS: CentOS 6.4

Is anyone else seeing this behavior?

We're still with version 11.5.30 but suddenly experience the same problem with only SOME domains after last minor update. Others on the same server can log in just fine. Permissions are the same for all domains.
Wasted a whole day on this already... Tried /usr/local/psa/bin/repair --restore-vhosts-permissions but no luck.
