  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk 7.5 on IBM zSeries?

I'm new to this forum. We're currently hosting our virtual domains using another control panel (we aren't happy with it, but that's another story), and we're planning to consolidate our server farm into a single IBM zSeries host. One of those hosts can run multiple instances of Redhat Enteprise 3 AS. It obviously isn't Intel-based.

My question: is an Intel-based Linux needed to install Plesk Reloaded 7.5, or will any RHEL3 AS work? Do I need to install RHEL in 31-bit (yes, 31) or 64-bit mode? Or doesn't it make any difference?

If I'm the first one asking such a question , maybe general information about compatibility with other non-Intel platforms would be helpful as well (AMD 64-bit, etc).

Thank you
-Manuel
