Plesk 8.3 license problem

Hello,

I am running Plesk 8.3 on Windows 2003 server. Yesterday my Plesk control panel gave me the following error:

Error: The license key is invalid. In order to use the Control Panel, please obtain and install a new functioning license key.The amount of currently used resources overrides the limits defined by your license. The number of web sites hosted on the server exceeds the limits defined by your license.

Now, I have been running Plesk for more than a year now and I had faced this issue previously also. Upon uploading my license key it would start working fine. But this time nothing's happening. When I contacted my server providers they said I have to upgrade to Plesk 9 to make everything work properly. My questions are:

1. Has Parallels stopped providing license keys for Plesk 8.3?

2. Do I really have to upgrade to version 9? I have read the horrible feedbacks and I am not too keen on it.

Has anyone faced this issue and can someone please help me on this?

Thanks.

If I buy a Plesk 9 license then will it work for my Plesk 8.3 version? On the url http://www.parallels.com/store/plesk/win/ it says the following:

"NOTE: Parallels Plesk Panel 9.0 for Windows license purchases are only for use on Parallels Plesk Panel (8.0 - 9.0) for Windows servers and are not able to be used or transferred to Parallels Plesk Panel for Linux/Unix servers."

So, I am assuming a Plesk 9 license will work for 8.3 too. I just need someone from Parallels to confirm this for me if possible.

Thanks.

Somebody must know something regarding this issue!!! Come on Parallels! I even contacted your support and no reply. At least someone could reply to my forum post with an answer. It's not rocket science for you guys, is it?!
