Plesk 9.5.4 and PHP 5.3

Just curious if anyone here has successfully upgraded from PHP 5.2 to PHP 5.3 running Plesk 9.5.4.

I am running Joomla 1.5 on the following installation:
Parallels Plesk Panel version 9.5.4
Operating system Linux 2.6.18-028stab069.6
CPU GenuineIntel, Intel(R) Xeon(R)CPU L5520 @ 2.27GHz

PHP 5.2.x runs perfectly and I have no problems with my setup.
I want to install a new module in Joomla but it mandates PHP 5.3.

Any help or feedback would be much appreciated.

use Atomic repo

You should activate Atomic Turtle repo:

I use it without any problems one several servers.

Please note: exclude mysql from the repo if you do not wish to have it upgraded.

Have never used a repo before and am a server maintenance novice.
