PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

Passwort reset site on Plesk Admin web-interface login page does not send a password reset link.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. go to your Plesk panel: https://MyHostname.tld:8443/
  2. klick on "Forgot your password?" and open https://MyHostname.tld:8443/get_password.php
  3. enter the e-Mail or username of an additional created admin user and klick on "Send"
  4. You'll get the message "Information: The password reset email was sent to the associated email address.
    If the email does not arrive, please contact your Plesk administrator"
  5. ... but no mail will ever arrive :-/

ACTUAL RESULT

Mail with reset information is not being send.
Also logs on server wont show any related mail creation or sending activity.

EXPECTED RESULT

Password reset mail is send to the affected admin-user.

ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Tested only with 4 additional created Plesk Admin user as well as with the build in "admin" user. result is the same.

Thank you. The bug confirmed: PPPM-12977.
The email should be sent with information that the password for Plesk administrators cannot be reset for security reasons and instructions on how to correctly reset it.
