  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk and Hosted Exchange

New Pleskian
Hi guys,

I recently updated to Plesk 9.3. I have a Microsoft Online Services account with 5 Exchange email addresses linked to one of the domains on the Plesk. The domain has been verified by Microsoft and communication between Exchange accounts @domain.co.uk is working correctly.

However, when I send an email from an IMAP account on the same domain to one of the Exchange accounts I get an error message saying: Could not send message to SMTP server. Check that you have access to send messages via the server and that all To/CC/BCC addresses are valid. Error: SMTP server rejected email. Returned 550 5.1.1. Receipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table.

I need to know if there's any way to have these emails delivered to the propper service.

Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

IgorG thanks for the reply. I just changed the setting and now I just get a bounce back and the email never gets to the Exchange server. I also tried creating the same account on the Plesk but without a mailbox and with that, obviously, emails just disappear.

Any other suggestions?
