Plesk autoinstaller sources

Hi team parallels.

I find in this moment that the sources downloads for the autoinstaller are very slow. I put at less 3/4 hour to install something (lost time in the products downloads by the autoinstaller, the install goes fast after).

Do you have problems with your downloads servers?

Hi,

Show please the output of
# nslookup autoinstall.plesk.com

IP address resolution for autoinstall.plesk.com depends on your location.
You can try to change resolution IP in /etc/hosts file:

72.21.81.253
93.184.221.133

Try to download some file manually:
1. wget http://autoinstall.plesk.com/PSA_11...core-11.0.9-cos5.build110120608.16.x86_64.rpm

I can browse and download all files in repository without any problems.
2. Have you tried to change ip address in /etc/hosts?

3. Check /tmp/autoinstaller3.log
Is there some errors regarding to downloading files?

I didn't try anything yet.

Several things in the autoinstaller log.

1)

Try to find rcfile...
Autoinstaller found rcfile at /root/.autoinstallerrc
Option from rc file:: 'SOURCE_TYPE' = 'network'
Option from rc file:: 'SOURCE' = 'ftp://parallels.mirrors.ovh.net/parallels/'
SourceUrl: original source url is ftp://parallels.mirrors.ovh.net/parallels/
SourceUrl: fixed url is ftp://parallels.mirrors.ovh.net/parallels/
Read component settings from /root/.autoinstaller/options.ini
Server for reporting status run OK: pid=18779
Checking hostname is sucessfull.
SourceUrl: original source url is ftp://parallels.mirrors.ovh.net/parallels/
SourceUrl: fixed url is ftp://parallels.mirrors.ovh.net/parallels/
FileFetcher new object: target_dir=/root/parallels/, main_source_url=ftp://parallels.mirrors.ovh.net/parallels/

Source seems to be ovh mirrors (slow?).

Yes, it is network problem with ovh mirror.

you can ignore this warning

This warning relates to the same network problem

Warning: unresolved requires '/usr/bin/fipscheck' from fipscheck-lib-1.2.0-1.el5.x86_64

Try to clear up2date cache

If you use CentOS perform "yum clean all"
