Plesk Backup and Upgrade

Eric Lowe

New Pleskian
Good morning,

I am beginning the process of migrating from a rather old dedicated server to a less old server. Both run CentOS 5.9, and currently I'm running Plesk 9.3

How would I go about performing a backup of all Plesk files so that when restored, all of the DNS, customer, etc settings are transferred? I've seen in some searches where people used a Backup Manager, but I don't seem to have that option.

Also, can I do this backup, upgrade my Plesk to a newer version, then restore the backup to the newer panel?

Thank you

Why you can't install server with newest Plesk version and perform migration from old Plesk version with Plesk Migration Manager?
