• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Hello Everyone,

Can you please suggest the Plesk backup/restore easy to use solution?
The one located in Plesk/Utilities is turning of the httpd while its backing up the site and second its complicated

Best Regards,
Pavel

This is true and has been a big complaint from most users about the domain being unavailable during the backups. You should read up on the docs about psadump and psarestore that you can run manually or checkout 4PSA total backup add on.

I run my own backup scripts via cron jobs that just grab the MySQL DB's and website files.

Can you please let me if i can download your script or if its for sale ?

4psa script cost $100
