Plesk backup

Hello,
I have a 2nd drive installed on my Plesk server and mounted as /backup. How can I go about getting a server-wide backup to be placed in the /backup partition every day? The standard backup utility seems to be on a client-by-client basis and does not have any options for selecting a target location for the backup. Please help.

Tutt didn't ask HOW TO mount a second drive. His message said:

If the second drive is mounted as "/backup", then using the directions in the link provided, name the backup file as </backup/backupfilename>

Okay, sorry for being PI ... I meant 'point' to the 2nd drive with the backup. ;)

Don't listen to what I say, listen to what I mean :D LOL (or meant to say)

TIA

I'd check out Total Backup for Plesk, our most popular app. It will backup your system up and throw it on /backup or any other mount point I suppose. It comes with tbrestore which works great and is also usable with tar commands.

It saved my bacon last night; I recovered 99 domains from a seven day backup after a newb deleted the vhosts directory on his server.

Good Luck!
