  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Plesk blocks Autodiscover

vaelu

Basic Pleskian
Hello guys

I have a problem with Plesk since I need to configure autodiscover and autoconfig for my customers emails. I've created both subdomains "autodiscover.example.com" and "autoconfig.example.com" and created the config files. Also I've created the correct SRV records etc. like in this tutorial (german: Autodiscover und Autoconfig für E-Mails mit Plesk – Outlook / Thunderbird automatisch konfigurieren - inoWRX - Webdesign & Software Engineering aus Bünde | Bitcoin Love ❤). The URL which Outlook uses to find the settings is https://autodiscover.example.com/AutoDiscover/AutoDiscover.xml.

Now the strange thing is that something blocks exactly this AutoDiscover.xml file, I get a 404. Everything in other directories etc. works perfectly (ex: https://autodiscover.example.com/test/AutoDiscover.xml). Also I'm very curious about the error message "Apache Server at webmail.autodiscover.example.com Port 80". There has to be a hidden forwarding. But what has the webmail to do with my autodiscover subdomain? And why does it redirect to port 80. It should be 443 (SSL).

Does anyone know something about this?
