Resolved plesk: command not found

bluchip

New Pleskian
Hello,

I upgraded MariaDB 5.5 to 10.1 and in the process I have some Plesk packages removes because of their dependency to MariaDB. After succesfull upgrade of MariaDB, I am trying to reinstall the packages.

I have 2 problems that I can't find solution for.

- I can find a way to install plesk-base pacakge using yum. Message I am getting is No package plesk-base available. I have the same issue with other plesk-* packages. How can I install plesk-base package again.
- Every time I try to run plesk command e.g. plesk repair installation i get the following message -bash: plesk: command not found.

Any help will be much apreciated

Thanks

Please, download the installer script:

# wget https://installer.plesk.com/plesk-installer

Enable execution mode for the downloaded installer script:

# chmod +x ./plesk-installer

Run the script to launch the interactive installer for the latest stable Plesk version in command line:

# sh ./plesk-installer

Follow to menu.

Hello,

Thanks for you help. I followed your instructions and Plesk seems to be working now. I had problem login in to Plesk with the previous password. For anyone having the same issue you need to run plesk bin admin --set-password -passwd <your_new_password> in order to set a new password.

Thanks again for your help

Thanks, still works with installer script from @IgorG and keeps all your data of webspaces, emails,. etc. [puuuuuh :D]

=> saved hours and days of new installation.

problem occures:
while updating server with plesk obisidian 18.0.34 under CENTOS7
mariaDB from 10.2 to 10.3

=> Package MariaDB-server.x86_64 0:10.2.37-1.el7.centos will be erased

and then: command plesk won't work any more.

use IgorG's commands

and upgrade your mysql-server by
mysql_upgrade -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow`
so you won't have to search any password :)
