  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Plesk CP config question

Hey All,
I've come across this in Plesk 7.5.2 under Server>Preferences:

When calculating disk space usage, count?
1 file size
2 amount of disk space used

What's exactly is the difference? Sorry is this is a stupid question!

Take a 5KB file for example, if your filesystem is configured to use 4KB blocks, the 5KB file will take up 8KB space on the filesystem, i.e. rounding up to the nearest multiple of 4KB's. "File size" counts this file as 5KB, "amount of disk space used" counts this as 8KB.
